An article needs to be supported so the main idea is strong and backed up to the point where more people are agreeing with the topic and are on your side. But you just have one problem... You don't know how.
When supporting the central idea with evidence you have to use strong claims to back up the WHOLE central or main idea. Use highlighter to show what your evidence is and use the PEEL strategy to explain your answer. Your evidence should be at least 1 sentence long and you can't just use the whole article or story as evidence.
