Milwaukee Passport Trip : 2
~The Haggerty Museum of Art~

Water as a Symbol and Water as Aesthetic

Where: The Haggerty Museum of Art located on the Marquette University Campus!

When: Monday, November 13, 2013 from 8:15 - 9:30 pm

What {objective}: I viewed and analyzed the art exhibits on display at the museum and make logical and relevant inferences about the art and wonder why they are significant to our study of "Milwaukee as a Water City."

Why {is this significant/relevant}: After observing the beautiful art exhibits, I realized that water really does have an affect on life whether it is literal or metaphorical. In a literal sense, water affects where we live and our way of living. It also assisted in shaping our city {Milwaukee} because it provided transportation of people and goods. In a metaphorical/abstract way, it draws people to it for personal reasons that can be psychological.

Was...this an enjoyable trip?: I REALLY enjoyed this was my first trip with HUM 150 and it was beneficial to my class and my enjoyment :-)
