About Sush Prusty

An accomplished physician in the field of emergency medical services, Dr. Sush Prusty serves as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a Caritas Family Hospital in Massachusetts. Over the course of his career, Dr. Prusty has served as Director of Pre-Hospital Care for St. Elizabeth’s Emergency Department and Medical Control Physician for an affiliate hospital.

Dr. Sush Prusty also works as Service Medical Director at Samaritan EMS, LLC, and Medical Director for Armstrong Ambulance. Earlier in his career, Dr. Prusty worked as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department at Morton Hospital and Medical Center. He also holds extensive experience as an educator.

In 1999, Dr. Sush Prusty joined the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. Possessing extensive teaching experience, Dr. Prusty served the National College of Technical Instruction as a Medical Director and as a Course Director with the St. Elizabeth’s Annual EMS Symposium.

Dr. Sush Prusty previously completed his Doctor of Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine in 1994. Undertaking his medical training, he fulfilled an internship at Malden Hospital and a residency in emergency medicine at Boston Medical Center. Board certified in emergency medicine in Massachusetts, Dr. Prusty also holds certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Basic Life Support. During the course of his career, has earned several honors, including the 2003 Educator of the Year Award from the Boston Region IV EMS Council.
