Separatists- People who want a province to become a separate country, such as Quebec.

Multiculturalism- Where you accept many other cultures.

Equality and Justice

Pierre Trudeau- led an effort to add a Charter of Rights and Freedoms to the Canadian Constitution in 1982.

Charter of Rights- Similar to U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights, and guarantees freedom of speech, religion, right to vote, and equal rights.

Imports- Goods brought into the country.

NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement)- Lowered trade barriers among U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
