Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet
"Act I, Paris, Skyler Cho, Honors". Tonight at the feast, I'm going to win Juliet's heart. If I get married with Juliet, my Prince Escalus will celebrate my marriage, and also the Capulets will be happy since it's a chance to alleviate Prince's wrath. This party is solely for me, to show off my gentleness and virility. Since the only thing that matters is Juliet's consent, I should be prudent with my demeanor and words around her. (Dinner time - at Capulet’s house) Zounds! Who is that woman with astonishing beauty? I better dance with her, for I know she can only be Juliet. (dance/flirt time) It’s time to go to bed, but my robustly pumping heart won’t let me sleep. Juliet’s the only thing that rules in both my heart and mind. Tomorrow or very soon, I must talk to Capulet and make our marriage happen as early as possible. The only question I can not fathom is… does she loves me as much as I do? I do not know the answer. Well, I guess it’s not the proper question to ask, for I’m the best man in Verona, and her father already knows that I’ve chosen her as my lady. Time to sleep.
