A Totalitarian government is a centralized government that does not tolerate parties of differing opinion and that exercises dictatorial control over many aspects of life.
Pros: Everything can be run smoothly because no one can disagree. Also, things get done faster because there is no opposition.
Cons: Government can become too power hungry and kill anyone that gets in their way. No one can ever voice their opinion.
“A democracy without values easily turns into open or thinly disguised totalitarianism.”
― Pope John Paul II
“Totalitarianism is patriotism institutionalized.”
― Steve Allen
