Attorney Synthia Kucner Enjoys Reading and Helping Her Community
About Synthia Kucner
Outside of her work as a Washington, DC, area attorney, Synthia Kucner enjoys a diverse array of hobbies, including traveling, playing the flute, exercising, practicing yoga, and spending time with family. She also loves reading English and American novels, an interest which began growing during her undergraduate education as an English major. She also enjoys visiting historic sites and often travels to the Caribbean. Further, Synthia Kucner is a member of her local book club, PTA, and Supper Club.
A dedicated member of the community, Ms. Kucner volunteers at several organizations, including the PTA and Girl Scouts. Additionally, she donates her time to local shelters and clothes closets and works as a court-appointed special advocate for children in foster care.
Professionally, Synthia Kucner recently served as an EEO contract attorney for the USDA, where she drafted final agency decisions. Prior to this, she spent several years as an attorney in two Maryland school districts, where she handled legal issues related to construction and budgets, student rights, and labor and employment.
