Alexander Graham Bell was eccentric inventor and engineer, who is credited with inventing the first telephone . He was born on March 3, 1847 in the town of Edinburgh , United Kingdom and died on August 2, 1922 at the age of 75 in , Beinn Bhreagh , Nova Scotia, Canada. He created the telephone because his mom and his wife were deaf. That inspired him to create the telephone, in which he got patented in 1876, and many other hearing devices.
