1.)Newton's First Law affects the motion because my hand is the unbalanced, external force that changed the pawn's motion.
2.) Newton's Second Law affects the motion because the more force I flick the pawn with the farther it will accelerate. But if I don't flick the pawn very hard then it wont accelerate as far, or it won't go as far as when I flicked it hard.
3.) Newton's Third Law affects the motion because when I flick the pawn, the opposite and equal reaction would be when it hit the backboard (opposite direction)and then rebounds (equal force).
The forces that are involved are friction. It's unbalanced because the pawn didn't go in a perfect straight line and the timings were different.
