Allusion
Allusion is a brief and indirect reference to a person, place, thing or idea of historical, cultural, literary or political significance. It does not describe in detail the person or thing to which it refers. It is just a passing comment and the writer expects the reader to possess enough knowledge to spot the allusion and grasp its importance in a text.

Jove the God of the Sky,  looks like a very fit, man with a beard and holds a lightning bolt in his hand expressing the amount of power he holds.  

What is Zeus's power?

Zeus, being the King of Sky he was, can shoot lightning bolts from his fingertips and can take literal lightning bolts and hurtle them at people.

Zeus's purpose was to defeat his evil father Cronus, after doing so he took up the throne as overall ruler of his family.

Zeus, is known in Roman mythology Jupiter or Jove, God of the sky, he holds a thunderbolt to affirm his position and has lots of offspring that became heroes of the mythical world. EX- Hercules.

The lightning bolt is the symbol associated with Jupiter. In Greek Mythology Jupiter is Zeus and a festival associated with Zeus is, “the Zeus Festivals”.
