Jews Rounded Up To Concentration Camps
This map shows the deportation routes the Jews took to the camps. I chose this image because it shows all of the places Jews were taken from. During the journey, German authorities did not give them food or water, causing many deaths. The Jews also did not have a sanitary facility except a bucket. The guards that went with them had orders to shoot anyone who tried to escape.
This image shows Jews being sent to Concentration camps. I chose this image because it shows how they were taken to the camps. Before they are taken away, the Jews are fingerprinted and photographed. After this, the Germans rounded up the Jews and prepared to send them to the camps. They typically take a train to the camps.
