Bye Bye Birdie

By: Jon Rogers

Bye Bye Birdie! is a live stage production about a typical american teenage sensation named Conrad Birdie, gets drafted to the army. A few days before Conrad leaves for the Army. His managers Albert Peterson, and Rosie Alvarez want Birdie to give one of his loyal fans "One Last Kiss" before he goes off into the Army. That fan is chosen at random, and is Kim MacAfee. A teenager in Sweet Apple, who just got pinned to a boy named Hugo F. Peabody. Since that, she has tried to get out of the Birdie Fan Club.

Implication #1

My first implication is about how Rosie and Albert show that you should always worry about what's most important. I honestly thought, that Albert was spending too much time worrying about Conrad and the Almaelou Music Corporation than worrying about his future wife, Rosie. By the end, the Albert finally finds out how he was treating her. So, at the end he gives up Conrad and gets married to Rosie. This also shows with Kim MacAfee. She finds out that it's better to stay with Hugo, than kiss Conrad.

Implication #2

Another implication that I see in the story, is that everything will turn out fine in the end. One good way to see it, is the in the song "Put On A Happy Face." The song in the show is about a little sad girl that finds out that she'll be too old for Conrad when he gets out of the army. So, Albert, Conrad's Manager, sings her a song about spreading sunshine all over the place and putting on a smile and knowing everything is gonna be alright. It shows also with Rosie, on hows she patient with her boyfriend, Albert

Yes, If you really love someone you would do anything to be with them. I wouldn't care what happened as long as I am with the person i really care about. Love is forever. Money doesn't last for ever because you spend it and fame doesn't because you slowly begin to fade away and people tend to forget about you when new artist come out.

Money and fame does not rule your life. Loved ones can vanish because you spend too much time trying to get more famous and richer and richer.
You can be rich and famous and be miserable with no loved ones, or you can be happy with your loved ones and barely get by.
Love for your family is more important than fame or money.

Yes I would give up money and fame to be with somebody I love because money and fame don't bring happiness and don't always last forever. Love can last a lifetime and brings you happiness.

I would give up money and fame and about almost everything else for someone I love. All the money and fame is all going to end one day and love will last forever. Being with someone you love is more important that having fame or money. If you really love someone it won't be a hard decision to make between money and fame or the person you love.

Yes, I would give up money and fame to be with a loved one because if you truly love that person then they would make you much happier than all of the money and fame in the world ever could.

I would give up money and fame because money is just paper and love is something that you feel.
