My Chicago Baby!
Chicago is the third most populous city in the United States, after New York City and Los Angeles. With 2.7 million residents, it is the most popular city in both the U.S. state of Illinois and the American Midwest. Its metropolitan area, sometimes called Chicago land, is home to 9.5 million people and is the third-largest in the United States. Chicago is the seat of Cook County.
Chicago was incorporated as a city in 1837, near a portage between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River watershed, and experienced rapid growth in the mid-nineteenth century. Today, the city is an international hub for finance, commerce, industry, technology, telecommunications, and transportation, with O'Hare International Airport being the second-busiest airport in the world; it also has the largest number of U.S. highways, and railroad freight entering its region In 2012, Chicago was listed as an alpha global city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network, and ranks seventh in the world in the 2014 Global Cities Index. As of 2012, Chicago had the third largest gross metropolitan product in the United States, after the New York City and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, at a sum of US $571 billion.
Chicago is filled with many styles and tastes. Chicago is a place where you are allowed to be yourself no matter what doubts you may have because we all have something crazy, goofy, stinky, creativity and talents in us. Chicago is an individual; just because it is in the “I” section in the alphabet doesn't mean that the city Chicago comes in that place too. Chicago is beautiful with their sky scrapers and the city lights; it might have it's doubts but trust me Chicago is the hot topic.
Man Gets Beat With a Bat for Being Gay
Who wants to get beaten because of something that they believe in?In San Diego a hill crest man says that he was randomly beaten with a baseball bat because he was gay.
"I've never been so scared in my entire life,"said Dwayne Wynn. "I literally thought I was going to die. I thought they were going to kill me. They were beating me bad."
The man felt that the guys that beat him up should not be worried about who he is and who he wants to be. That the guys that be him up should be ashamed of themselves because if it was the other way around they would not like to be in the position Dwayne is in. The young man suffered from many injuries and is always in severe pain. He suffered from a broken rob cage and a broken eye socket.

What Is Street Art?
Street art is not a bad thing; it's just a way of expressing someone's feelings. Just think if you were walking down the street and you saw street art, you shouldn't put it down ,admire it. Try to figure out what the artist is trying to say. Try to find the emotions hidden in that piece. Street art are messages, they can be one word messages with many definitions that sum up to one thing. Street art should appear more often because people can get a lot of positive messages out of one painting. Street art pops out. Make say "wow" or "what great talent." Street art just doesn't make our city look colorful, but it defines our city and give those artists out there ,that took their hard work and dedication, the recognition they deserve. It gives those those famous artist out there inspiration for their next piece and most importantly it gives those dream artists, including me,the confidence letting us know that we can make and we can do anything we put our mind to. Street art is not a bad thing people, so take advantage of the free art.
