biotic-A living thing,as a aninal or plant,that influences affects the ecosystem

example:deer,fox,trees,plants is a biotic factors

carrying capacity

carrying capacity-the maximum, equilibrium number of organism of a particular species that can supported indefinitely in given enviorment

carrying capacity need stuff like food,water,shelter,and sun so that they can survive

For deers, a population can decrease by running out of food or water or not enough shelter space so the deer piopulation can be extinct

limiting factors

limiting factors-An enviormental that tends to limit population size

example:oil and coal

producer: A person who creates economic value, or produces goods and servies

decomposer: an organism that breaks down the cells of dead plants animals into simpler substances

consumer: a organism that feeds on plants or other animals

carnivore is a animal that eats other animals

omnivore is a animal or a human that eats both plants and animals

scavenger is these ugly birds that eats dead animals

food web

a series of organisms related by predator-prey and consumer-resource interactions; the entirety of interrelated food chains in an ecological community.

A food web consists of many food chains. A food chain only follows just one path as animals find food. eg: A hawk eats a snake, which has eaten a frog, which has eaten a grasshopper, which has eaten grass. A food web shows the many different paths plants and animals are connected.

if you remove one organism from a food chain/food web it can let that animal that eat that organism die and so on

the reason why we use a pyramid is because how smaller the enviorment is
