CPR Cheat Sheet

Adult and Child CPR

  1. Check the scene for hazardous stuff. Ex. Puddles, Gasoline, etc.
  2. Check the person
  3. Activate EMS, use an AED if you have one
  4. 30 chest Compressions ( if a child use the heel of one hand and go down 1/3 inches)
  5. Open Airway, apply face mask, and give two breaths.
  6. Continue CPR until EMS or AED arrives or your tired

Infant CPR

  1. Check the scene.
  2. Check the baby by tickling it's foot
  3. Activate EMS, then use AED if you have one
  4. Give 30 compressions with two fingers (index and middle)
  5. Open Airway, apply face mask if you have one, and give to breaths
  6. Continue CPR until EMS or AED arrives, or you're tired

Adult/Child Conscious Choking

  1. Check the scene
  2. Check the person
  3. Call 911
  4. Give Arm thrusts.
  5. continue until they pass out or 911 comes

Adult/Child Unconsious Choking

  1. If the person goes unconscious gently lie them to the ground
  2. Check Airway
  3. Give 30 compressions
  4. Give 2 breaths
  5. if they vomit lay them on their side
  6. continue till they're responsive, 911 comes, or if they stop chocking

Infant Consious Choking

  1. Check the scene
  2. Call 911
  3. Check the baby
  4. give 5 back blows
  5. give 5 chest compressions
  6. continue until EMS arrives, or they stop choking

Infant Unconscious Choking

  1. If the baby goes unconscious lay it down gently
  2. Check the airway
  3. give 30 compressions
  4. do a finger sweep
  5. give 2 breaths
  6. continue until EMS arrives or they stop choking

Bleeding

  1. Check scene
  2. Check person
  3. Call Ems
  4. If it's bad apply pressure and wrap up and bandage the wound.

AED

  1. Check Scene
  2. Check Person
  3. Turn on AED
  4. Apply and chest and back
  5. Don't touch the person
