About Tausif Rahman Texas

Standout student-athlete Tausif Rahman graduated with honors from Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas, in June 2013. In the fall, Tausif Rahman plans to enroll at Texas A&M University to pursue studies in business and engineering.

During his high school years, he excelled in the classroom. He was identified as a gifted student from first grade through 12th grade, and frequently ranked at the top of his class academically. His academic accomplishments included completing numerous Advanced Placement courses and being accepted into the University of North Texas Academy of Math and Science as well as the Duke University Talent Identification Program.

Mr. Rahman also participated in various sports while he was in high school. He played defensive end for his school’s football team and threw discus for the track and field team. Additionally, he earned a black belt in martial arts and self defense at Lee’s U.S. Taekwondo Academy in Plano.
