The Emo Trinity.
The Emo Trinity is a group of three of my favorite bands My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco. The Emo Trinity is known all around the world by all sorts of people. what I'm trying to figure out is what is the history behind the bands/ why two of them broke up, why these bands are important to so many people, and who are the members. So enjoy.
Panic! At The Disco.
Panic! At The Disco is a pop rock band formed in 2004 consisting of band members Brendon Urie (vocalist), Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith ,and Brent Wilson. The band formed shortly after the members got out of high school, and released their first album A Fever You Can't Sweat out. One of their first songs off of that very album named, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, is the main reason they were moderately famous up until early this year (2015). Eventually later in their career the band greeted many new band members including Dallon Weekes, and Ian Crawford. Around that same time they also had to part ways with many old members of their small group like Ryan Ross, and Brent Wilson. That definitely didn't stop this band, because shortly after their new members joined they released a new single, New Perspective, and began doing more live performances. Later on their fame began to die down because of the loss of most of their members. On April 2nd, 2015 Spencer Smith finally announced that he had officially left the band leaving Brendon the only original member of the band left. Panic! is supposed to began performing May 16th, 2015.
My Chemical Romance.
My Chemical Romance is an American rock band formed back in 2001. The band consisted of Gerard Way (lead vocalist) , Ray Toro (guitarists) and Frank Lero (also guitarists), Mikey Way (bassists), and James Dewees (keyboardists). Shortly after the band formed they were signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love in 2002. A year passed and they soon decided to sign with Reprise Records and released their major debut Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The album was a success, and the band was awarded with a platinum status a little over a year later. The band had many more amazing albums up until March 22nd 2013, one month after the band released the final collection in their Conventional Weapons series the band finally announced that they were breaking up. As of March 25, 2014 there was a greatest hits collection created for them entitled May Death Never Stop You. It has previously been reported that they will actually be going on a comeback tour in 2016. The killjoys will be waiting.
Fall Out Boy.
Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in 2001. The band consisted of members Patrick Stump (lead vocalists/ guitarist), Pete Wentz (bassist), Joe Trohman, and Andy Hurley. The band originated from Chicago's hardcore punk scene, with which Pete Wentz heavily involved. The group was originally formed by Wentz and Trohman as a punk pop side project. In 2005 the bands major label breakthrough, From Under The Cork Tree, produced two hit singles, Dance Dance, and Sugar We're Goin Down. After that album was released the band eventually went super platinum, making the band into superstars and transforming Wentz into a celebrity and taxbloid figure. Eventually the band reached a stopping point when stump, Wentz, and Hurley each began having difficulties with themselves and the band. Patrick Stump started feeling uncomfortable with the band having an "Emo" image. Andy Hurley started going through was he called "the darkest depression [I've] ever experienced." Pete Wentz on the other stared abusing Xanax and Klonopin which eventually led to a divorce with his wife sending him to therapy. Eventually after the break Stump called Wentz asking to get together for a writing session. On the phone Wentz said to Stump, "I know what you need, you need your band." Soon after the call they both got together and wrote new tracks they thought truly represented the band and their current form. Eventually them and the other two members thought it was time for them to make a comeback.
Why Are These Bands Important To So Many People?
Bands like these are important to many people worldwide, but why? To several people these are not just bands. They are groups of people that saved that individuals life, or maybe the bands just have the capability to at least make a single persons day. These bands and their members may not look like much, but the mean the world to and entire population of people. A lot of the time the fans of the bands are looking for the same thing, happiness, and they often find in their music and in the members themselves. That's why these bands may mean so much to so many people.
