Miles Davis Overall

Miles Davis had a good childhood other than the fact he wasn't always treated the same because of his skin color. His father was a prominent American dentist and therefore his family was not poor. As Miles Davis grew up he became more interested in music and in the instruments. He began playing the trumpet and received lessons starting at age 13. starting at age 16 Miles Davis started to play in bands. e became very successful in his career that he influenced several other music players including John Coltrane.

He changed his music so that new generations would listen to it. In order to do so he introduced cool jazz keeping the new generations to come happy.
