Week of: May 18th - Nearpod - Create and download FREE interactive multimedia presentations that can be shared with students in real time. Students can use any device to interact and answer multiple question types. Teachers can view student results immediately.

- Quizziz - is a fun multiplayer classroom activity, that allows your students to practice together. Students can play in teams or individually using any device with a web browser.

- Zaption - provides free interactive video tools and ready-to-use video lessons to engage learners. Add images, text, and questions to any online video, creating interactive lessons that meet your learners’ needs.

- Wordle - Generate "word clouds" from famous speeches, new articles, student writing, or any text you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source.

- Ancestry Classroom - Teachers and students may access http://www.ancestry.com/ for FREE when using computers onsite at RCS. This site is for historical research.

- Nuzzle - If you use Twitter but you don’t have time to keep up with the constantly changing twitter feed, then Nuzzel is for you! Nuzzel will send you the top tweets from the people you follow and keep track of the stories you read. It helps to simplify and streamline Twitter for you.



Week of: March 23rd
- Padlet provides an online canvas for people to collaborate and share ideas. It can be used for word walls, brainstorming, question boards, and more.


Week of: March 16th
- Interwrite Workspace and Exam View Pro - Are you looking for a way to make TCAP or EOC review fun? - World Book Timelines - offers hundreds of pre-generated timelines across eight broad topics, which cover various time periods in history or span the life of historical public figures. Users may also create their own timeline from scratch, adding events, descriptions, and media. Access World Book for FREE though TEL-Tennessee Electronic Library.

- Blendspace - Teachers and students can collect and annotate web resources in one place and share with just one link. Blend your classroom with digital content.

- ThinkCerca - Help students build college and career readiness skills with engaging real-world ELA, Science, and Social Science topics for grades 3-12.



Week of: February 2nd
- Savefrom.net - Plan for classroom lessons that include Youtube instructional videos by downloading them to your computer ahead of time. Archive videos will then be accessible at any time without internet connection. Play videos from your computer instead of streaming and save district bandwidth.

- Office 365 Groups.Learn how to easily connect with Rutherford County colleagues and share files, conversations, and calendars.


Week of: January 12th
- Jing: Capture and mark up images from your computer screen with Jing. Create up to five minutes of screencast recording for instant, focused communication. Free version is ideal for flipped and blended learning.


Week of: January 5th
- Kahoot is a free game-base learning website that enables teachers to create quizzes or choose from thousands of pre-made public quizzes that students can answer in a game-like environment using any web-enabled device. Students can also make up their own kahoot.

Week of: December 15th - Dropitto.me is a file sharing website that allows students to securely submit files to their teachers. Those files are instantly download to a folder in the teacher’s Dropbox and emailed to the teacher letting them know a file has been submitted through the site.


Week of: December 8th
- The Literacy Shed is home to a wealth of visual resources. Find high quality resources that can be used in stand-alone literacy lessons that can form the basis for a whole literacy unit or can support literacy units that you already have in place. This site has many book based activities that work alongside suggested digital resources.



Week of: December 1st -
EduCanon is is an online learning environment to create and share interactive video lessons. Teachers begin with any YouTube, Vimeo, or TeacherTube video content (screencasts, Khan Academy, Minute Physics, TED, NOVA, etc.) and make the content interactive by to embedding questions within videos that track student progress on assigned videos.

- SignUpGenius is a FREE online tool for creating and managing group sign up lists and forms.


Week of: November 17th
- ThingLink lets you add links to images and videos. Easily create interactive images and videos for your websites, infographics, photo galleries, presentations and more.

GoSoapBox is a web-based clicker tool used by educators around the world to keep students engaged and gain real-time insight into student comprehension.

Diigo Build your personal library in the cloud, with links, pages, notes, pictures, videos, and ready to be accessed anywhere.

Text Generator is a tool for creating iPhone text memes.

Tizmos is an online visual bookmarking site for organizing and sharing your favorite links.
