A prominent presence in the Chicago business community and member of the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, Ted Gladson served as president of retail-focused Gladson Interactive from 1971, when he founded the company, until 2005, when he sold it. With a focus on meeting the needs of major consumer brands, Ted Gladson guided a Chicago team in developing one of the world’s most advanced ecommerce product information platforms.
To this day, the firm presents product-relevant information in a consistently branded way--and now tailored to mobile devices. The company has developed effective in-store space management databases that allow planograms to be drawn up and sales and brand positioning maximized. Offerings extend to dedicated nutrition and market research databases that enhance companies’ ability to reach consumers in meaningful ways.
Mr. Gladson Is a pharmacist with extensive experience in retail, wholesale, manufacturing, extending more than four decades. A longtime member of many local and national Pharmaceutical Associations, he has consulted with many of the sector’s leading companies. Mr. Gladson authored the industry-focused book Drugstore Guide to Selling and Merchandising.
