Teen Tech Week + Tackk
Teen Tech Week celebrates the value of libraries offering teens a space to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Teen Tech Week allows libraries to make the time to showcase all of the awesome digital resources & services that are available to help teens succeed in school in order to prepare them for college and 21st century careers.
Tackk is thrilled to be supporting #TTW15 and the national association of librarians, library workers and advocates around the world to empower teens. Use Tackk as a free tool as a resource during the week, and after!
Here are a few ways to use Tackk for Teen Tech Week:
Tackk provides a creation tool that librarians, teachers and students can use to capture thoughts, research, ideas and stories. Tackk is a guide for librarians and teachers alike to portray ideas and lessons to expand the creativity of students. They can create photo galleries, add Vines and Instagram videos and other visual media to capture reactions and feelings. Let your students choose from headlines, text, photos and video to portray their personal design in a Tackk.
Teens are all about chatting with friends and classmates. Luckily for teens, Tackk is a platform where they can create AND chat! The use of Tackk Stream allows teachers and students to collaborate in the classroom by creating conversations on student's creations. By using the three different chatting Stream tools, teens have the capability to communicate in a fun, interactive way.
Tackk makes it super simple to share your Tackk across all of your social networks. Teens can share their creative presentations, assignments and projects with the click of a button to all their favorite platforms.
