Terrence Carter leverages more than ten years of experience in education administration to provide consultation as an executive leadership partner at Scholastic, Inc., headquartered in New York City. In this capacity, he conducts regular meetings with the heads of districts to develop strategies for improving operations in schools struggling to sustain high performance. During his tenure with the company, Terrence Carter has secured more than $6 million in accounts in revenue by establishing accounts with school organizations.
In addition to these roles, Mr. Carter serves as the president of TCP Educational Solutions, LLC, which he founded in 2010. Among other focuses, he assists leaders in varying industries with talent management techniques.
In preparation for his career, Terrence Carter completed a bachelor’s degree in Africana studies with emphases in elementary education and social work at Rutgers University. He later attended the University of California, Berkeley, from which he received master’s degrees in social welfare and public health. Additionally, he holds an Ed.S. in educational leadership from National-Louis University.
