About Terrie Koles
An interior designer and former advertising professional, Terrie
Koles currently owns and operates her own design firm in New York City.
In past creative leadership roles with large Madison Avenue advertising
agencies like Ogilvy and Mather and BBDO, Terrie Koles spearheaded
campaigns for such large corporate clients as Samsung Electronics, Ryder
Trucks, Entertainment Weekly, and the British Tourism Authority.
Trained as a fine artist, Terrie Koles earned an MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art in Manhattan. Prior to enrolling at the academy, she completed a variety of courses at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and the Art Students League in New York City.
After graduating with her MFA, Ms. Koles went on to apply her artistic skill and knowledge to design a series of innovative “sensory” three-dimension installations for a variety of major corporations, including Starbucks, Nabisco, Royal Caribbean, and Time Warner Cable. Garnering appreciation not only in the United States but internationally, her work was ultimately featured on the front page of the New York Times business section.
