Act Independently

     Journalists should be free of obligation to any interest other than the public's right to know. Almost any story published has some form of controversy, from government scandals to murders stories in a newspaper must stay independent and not be partial to any group. Newspapers can be partial toward the people. They should hold people with political power accountable. Also Journalist must refuse gifts, favors and avoid sources offering information for money.
