About Tony Ehinger
For over 25 years, Tony Ehinger played a vital role in helping his company become a high-performing leader in the global financial industry. Now retired, Mr. Ehinger most recently served as co-head of Global Securities at Credit Suisse, a firm offering an array of solutions the world's largest asset managers, corporations, and governments. Primarily active within the investment banking division since 2009, Tony Ehinger designed and implemented a host of customized client-centered strategies to successfully manage key accounts. Striving to further enhance the marketability and productivity of Credit Suisse, he also assisted with an essential cross-selling initiative and spearheaded numerous college campus recruitment efforts, most notably serving as the firm’s ambassador to Georgetown University.
Tony Ehinger studied English and economics at Drew University and completed a Bachelor of Arts. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Tusk School of Business at Dartmouth College. After completing his education, Mr. Ehinger launched his career in debit capital markets at the First Boston Corporation, an organization later acquired by Credit Suisse. In 1992, he accepted a position in the equities syndicate and successfully helped develop the department into an industry leader. Subsequently receiving several promotions, he also served as Head of Equities Syndicate, Head of Global Equities Sales, and ultimately Head of the Global Equities Division.
Today, Tony Ehinger intends to turn his attention towards a variety of philanthropic activities and recently made a significant financial contribution to assist in the construction of a new university center at Drew University. In his free time, Mr. Ehinger also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with his wife and their children.
