About Tony Saragas
A lawyer with nearly two decades of experience in administrative law, workers’ compensation, criminal prosecutions, and other practice areas, Tony Saragas currently serves as an attorney and advisor in the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Educated at Kentucky Wesleyan College and the University of Kentucky College of Law, Tony Saragas commenced his legal career as an associate with Gayle G. Huff in Harlan. During this period, he began an eight-year tenure as assistant Harlan County attorney, in which capacity he prosecuted a vast array of local and state cases. Tony also maintained a Harlan-based private practice that focused on representation of disability claims before the Social Security Administration.
In 2010, Tony Saragas assumed his present duties in the ODAR, where he reviews a wide range of disability claims, prepares opinions and research, and works on appellate cases. Also noted for his contributions to the community, Saragas volunteers his time as a youth sports coach, volunteers for local charities, with a number of key honors to his name.
