#11: Flight of the Conchords

Hmmm. What's a good way to explain Flight of the Conchords? Okay, take Al Yankovic. Now multiply him by two and Give em' a TV show. That's Flight of the Conchords. Started up in 1998, Flight of the Conchords is a comedy band famous for songs like The Most Beautiful Girl, Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros, and my favorite, Business Time. Members: Bret McKenzie, Jemaine Clement.

#10: Bad Meets Evil

In Eminem's 1999 album The Slim Shady LP, there was a song titled Bad Meets Evil, which featured Royce Da 5'9. The two enjoyed working together so much, that thirteen years later, in 2011 the two formed the rap band Bad Meets Evil. They released their first album, Hell: The Sequel, in that same year, and also appeared in SHADYXV (2014). Some songs that made them famous were Vegas, Above the Law, Lighters (Feat. Bruno Mars), and in my opinion, their best, Fast Lane. Members: Eminem, Royce Da 5'9.

#9: Led Zeppelin

Don't be discouraged by the shirtless skinny dudes with mustaches, this band is awesome. Led Zeppelin was a metal band started in 1968.  Unfortunately, Led Zeppelin wasn't around as very because of the tragic death of John Bonham, the band's drummer, in 1980. Zeppelin was famous for singles like Stairway to Heaven, Immigrant Song, Dazed and Confused, Kashmir, and my favorite, Whole Lotta Love. Members: Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul.

#8: Black Sabbath

Hey! You ever heard of Ozzy Osborne? Yeah, well, this is where he got his start. First debuting in 1968, (Yeah, you read it right, 1968, the same year as Led Zeppelin!) Black Sabbath is a metal band made famous for songs like Paranoid, War Pigs, Heaven and Hell, and my personal favorite, Iron Man. Past and Current Members: Ozzy Osborne, Tony Lommi, Geezer Butler, Ronnie James Dio, Bill Ward, Ian Gillan, Tony Martin, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Eric Singer, Cozy Powell, Dave Walker, Vinny Apice, Neil Murray, Geoff Nicholls, Bob Daisley, Bob Rondinelli, Beverly Bevan, David Donato, Terry Chimes, David Spitz, Mike Bordin, and Jo Burt. I guess you have to have a lot of members when you've been around for 47 years!

#7: Iron Maiden

YES! English band! Iron Maiden (Started in 1975) is a creative English heavy metal band that was famous for mystical and controversial songs such as Fear of the Dark, Hallowed Be Thy Name, The Trooper, Blood Brothers, The Number of the Beast, and my fav, Run to the Hills, which is about the white settlers terrorizing the Native Americans. Past and Current Members: Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Adrian Smith, Dave Murray, Janick Gers, Paul Di'Anno, Blaze Bayley, Clive Burr, Dennis Wilcock, Paul Day, Dennis Stratton, Doug Sampson, Thunderstick, Tony Parsons, Tony Moore, Terry Rance, Ron Matthews, Bob Sawyer, Dave Sullivan, Paul Cairns, Terry Wapram, and Paul Todd. #6: Metallica

Have you ever wondered who invented heavy metal? I got the answer for you right here. Metallica (Debuting on 1981) is a heavy metal band that is now known as, you guessed it, the fathers of Heavy Metal. These music gods are known for songs like Battery, Enter Sandman, Ride the Lightning, and my personal favorite, Seek and Destroy. Past and Current Members: James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammet, Robert Trujillo, Cliff Burton, Dave Mustaine, Jason Newsted, and Ron McGovney.

#5: Megadeth

Can't decide between Punk, Metal, or Rock? I know a band. >:-) Meet Megadeth, your one-stop-shop for Punk, Metal, and Rock. These lengthy-haired men are famous for hits like Symphony of Destruction, This Day We Fight, Tornado of Souls, Hangar 18, A' Tout le Monde, and one of the best of the best, Holy Wars. #4: Rage Against the Machine

I am one of those people who is a fan of pretty much any music, which I guess you've already seen on this list, but my two favorite genres of music are rock and rap. Fellow Tackkers, meet Rage Against the Machine, my absolute FAVORITE  band when it comes to both rap and rock. These dudes having been rockin' both the mic and the guitar since 1991. Some great examples of their music include Bombtrack, Calm Like a Bomb, Maggie's Farm, People of the Sun, Killing in the Name, and (Drum roll please) Bulls on Parade!  Past and Current Members: Tom Morrelo, Zach de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk.

#3: Bad Religion

When it comes to punk music, nobody beats Bad Religion. Debuting in 1979, Bad Religion is often considered "The Godfathers of Punk". They're famous for hit songs like American Jesus, Punk Rock Song, You, Do What You Want, Recipe for Hate, Los Angeles is Burning, Supersonic, Infected, and, competing for the title of my favorite song, 1st Century (Digital Boy). #2: Beastie Boys

Kick it! It's the Beasties! As the first white rap band to get any street cred, the Beastie Boys were the longest lasting rap band of all time, debuting in 1979, and breaking up in 2012, with the sad departure of MCA, their base voice. R.I.P. MCA. Famous songs: Brass Monkey, The New Style, (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party), No Sleep Till Brooklyn, Intergalactic, Too Many Rappers (Feat. Yeah BOYEEE! Public Enemy in the top spot! Public Enemy, as my favorite band, is 30 years old, debuting in 1982, and is famous for amazing, controversial, songs like harder than you think, Race Against Time, Don't Believe the Hype, Bring Tha Noise, He Got Game, Shake Your Booty, Rebel Without a Pause, Can't Truss It, Is Your God a Dog, Welcome to the Terrordome, 911 is a Joke, Public Enemy No. 1, and of course, who could forget, one of my absolute favorites, By the Time I Get to Arizona! Public Enemy is still touring and rocking the mic in Sweden, and spread news about a new album.
