Georgia is home to the Barrier Islands. The Barrier Islands are located on the Coastal Plains. When farming in Georgia you don't have to worry about storms and having your crops and harvest destroy'ed because the island protects Georgia's coast from storms. Also for tourist the Sea Islands are a very popular attraction.
FARMING FOR VEGETABLES PEANUTS & COTTON
For farming industries that are relocating there business to the Coastal Plains. This is a great location. Most farming industries are here because of the high demand for peanuts, cotton, and vegetables. Also our warmer seasons last longer in Georgia which allows farmers to have more time to finish there harvest and maybe start a new one.
THE BEAUTIES OF THE PLAIN
For tourist wanting to visit the Coastal Plains, a great place to go would be "Brunswick Islands." On its southern most shores they have 35 golf courses, Calabash sea food restaurants, family friendly beaches and beautiful sunrise and sunset views.
and it's least expected guest.
The Okefenokee Swamp has some guests that you wouldn't usually expect. For tourist this could be a great thing to see and experience. Some of these unexpected animals are bears, panthers, otters, and even pigs. These pigs are known by the pigs of the Okefenokee Swamp.
