“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,”
I believe in the first touch of the ball,
the moment you first look up the field,
the first game of the season,
the fresh smell of the grass,
the touch of the clean jersey,
running, aiming, scoring,
But I don’t believe in not trying.
I believe in teamwork,
I believe in seeing the fear in the goalies eye,
I believe in running until you can’t,
teammates, friends, family,
And I believe in a group of individuals becoming one team.
Words I Live By
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13. This verse means that no matter what is happening in your life, God can always help you to get through it. He knows exactly what is going to happen and what needs to happen in your life.
I adopted this belief from my parents. They raised me in church. My family was in church every time the doors were open. They taught me to always trust that God will never leave my side.
There beliefs are very important to me. The only thing that I have ever knew was to follow God. When I was little I never would have thought there was anything different. I feel like it is important to always stick to these beliefs. I just have to have faith to believe what I believe is correct.
I do not think that my beliefs will change as I get older. I think as I get older, I know that I will have to explore other religion and learn about them but I do not think anything will change my faith in God. This will help me shape my future by leading others to God.
I will always try to lead others to follow my beliefs. That doesn't mean that everyone I come in contact with will.
