His starts...

Omar Sy began in Radio Nova from 1996 till 1997, wich was a musical radio created by Jean-François Bizot. It was over there that he met Fred Testot with who he will personify a famous duo. Then, he was a part of a show of Jamel Debbouze untitled "Le cinéma de Jamel" and he created "Le Visiophon" wich stayed nearly unknown.
So he started to link sketch on small screen and performance like "Je ne fais pas mon âge", "Service après-vente des émissions" or "Omar et Fred: le spectacle" with his best friend, Fred Testot. Since 2005, they played together small sketches of 2 or 3 minutes diffused on Canal +.

Besides he was the voice of Zip in the french version of the video game "Tomb Rider Legend". In 2008, he appeared in the music video of Sinik named "Bienvenue chez les Bylkas". One year after, in 2009, he lent his voice, as his partner Fred Testot, for the small film "Logorama". Finally, in 2010, he was a part of the show "Motherfucker"of Florence Foresti, an another humorist, and he appeared in the music videos of two famous singers but with two different music styles: Zazie in "Etre et avoir" and Diam's in "Peter Pan".

Autre remarque: la version 'anglaise' est bcp plus détaillée que la version française (que j'ai reçue!), étonnant, non?
