The Effects of Bees
Bees have been dying off in droves around the world since the mid-1990s. The honey bees are a big deal for the U.S. Honeybees are the only creatures besides us who manufactures food for humans. All of the workers bees are females, also known as the queen. The male bees are called the drones. The drones job is only to impregnate the queen.
Why are the bees dying?
Honey bees are facing a disorder/risk called Colony Collapse Disorder. A lot of the people around the world are try to kill the bees just because they harm. The disorder makes the worker bees from a colony abruptly disappear. Since 2006, North American migratory beekeepers have seen an annual 30 percent to 90 percent loss in their colonies.
This is the graph of the bee population from 1954 to 2014. The amount over the bee population has came too increase over the first couple years and then it starts to increase because everyone starts killing the bees. Then around 2005 the bee population begins to increase again because of the larger economy and land population increases.
