Divergent by Veronica Roth is kind of like the Hunger Games where there is a dystopian society. Unlike the Hunger Games there are no kids killing kids but there are things like factions, when you turn a certain age you choose where you go, and that's where you go for the rest of your life. The main character Tris takes the test to see where her mind would excel the most, and she did not get a result. Her parents want her to choose to stay in there faction but it is her decision. The five factions are Abnecgation, Erudite, Dauntless, Amity, and Candor. Each faction represents something different as smarts, power, strength and then there is the poor faction and the bad one where they are the rebels of society. Dauntless is that faction they are always pushing to the extreme as scene in the picture up top and down below.
1. "I think of the motto i read in my Faction history book: Faction beofre blood. More than family our factions are where we belong." Page 43
2. " I dont want to be alone, but i dont feel like i have much of a choice." Page 270
I give this book five stars becasue it really has everything and it is a really good book.
