Summary

The water is common in every inch of the earth, nothing on the earth can survive with out it. The water is carried through a cycle called the water cycle, water is know as a solvent it has to be passed through the water cycle so that it dissolves minerals and the gases and carries them to the oceans. Fresh water is found in Ice Caps,Glaciers and Aquifers but most like 80% is found in oceans

water cycle->the cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers, and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration.

solvent-> able to dissolve other substances.

aquifers->a body of permeable rock that can contain or transmit groundwater

Glaciers->a slowly moving mass or river of ice formed by the accumulation and compaction of snow on mountains or near the poles.

watershed->an area or ridge of land that separates waters flowing to different rivers, basins,

river basin->A river basin is the portion of land drained by a river and its tributaries. It encompasses all of the land surface dissected and drained by many streams and creeks that flow downhill into one another, and eventually into the Milwaukee River.
