LEONARDO DA VINCI
Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519)
He lived in Italy, Amboise, France, Florence. He was a free thinker. Very open-minded. Very curious. He was also a vegetarian. Leonardo da Vinci was a painter, sculpture, architect, engineer, inventor, musician, scientist, mathematician, anatomist and many more. Leonardo had many accomplishments which also made him very famous. He made the Mona Lisa. He designed a helicopter, tank, calculator and concentrated solar power.
The Mona Lisa was a famous painting that Leonardo did. Many believe she is the wife of a wealthy Florentine merchant. It took him a few years and he kept on to it for a few years as well.
The last supper was a religious painting of Jesus and the Apostles at the last supper. It was painted by Leonardo da Vinci and it took him three years to paint. This was because he was known to be a bit of a procrastinator. His 'boss' Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, asked him to paint this.
It is belived that Leonardo da Vinci died of old age
