Ebooks are really useful and important tools that we can use in our lessons and recommend to our students.

There are lots of eBooks in the net nowadays and we can use them for almost everything in our day a day classes. We can find eBooks with exercises and explanations about fractions or eBooks that tell a really interesting story. However, we need to know how a good eBook looks like. Before using this tool with our students we must do a previous evaluation of it in order to select those ones that are appropriate for the contents that we are introducing.

To start with I have chosen the following eBook:

Author: Milica Svrzic.

License: (Creative Commons License) This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

1. Quality of content:

First of all I have decided to talk about the quality of content of this eBook. At this point I have to say that the content is related to the different types of houses that we can find all over the world. With this eBook children will also learn some of the adjectives that we can use in order to describe those houses. Maybe it would be a good idea to include in this contents something about the different rooms of the houses.

The eBook hasn't got any index or headlines and this makes it a little bit confusing.

2. Multimedia:

The multimedia included on it is really good. There are lots of videos and photos as examples of the contents with direct links on the eBook. Another important thing is that it is a really interactive eBook, it lets children to put into practice what they have learnt by doing some quiz or sharing their ideas in google drive. However, there are some pics and videos with a low quality of image (including the front cover) and the sources are not shown on it.

3. Accessibility:

This eBook has a really good inclusive practice, in the sense that it lets children interact each other and share all the different ideas that they have in mind. Furthermore they have the opportunity of solving their doubts by asking their peers.

4. Innovation and originality:

It shows an original topic despite the format is not so innovating.

I hope you find it useful!
