God Of War

Ares is the god of war, battle, anger, violence, fear, and courage.  Ares' roman name is Mars.  He represents the physical or violent and untamed aspect of war.  He's also responsible for keeping civil order and city defense.  Ares' parents are Zeus and Hera.  His siblings are Eris, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Dionysus, Hebe, Hermes, Hecales, Helen of Troy, Hephaestus, Perseus, Minos, the Muses, the Graces, Enyo, and Eileithyia.  His children are  Erotes (Eros and Athena), Phobos, Deimos, Phelgyas, Harmona, and Adrestia.  Ares has many symbols.  His symbols are a spear, helmet, dog, chariot, boar, vulture, and flaming torch.

Fun Facts!!
One fun fact about Ares is that he is the lover of Aphrodite.  Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty.  Another fun fact is that Ares is a very dangerous force.  He also is not well- liked or trusted by the others (The Ancient Greeks).
