Madonna changed the world in a huge way. She empowered girls and let them know they were important. She also changed the world of fashion with her bold statements.
Music in general also impacted people's thoughts in the 90s especially for girls. First, many boy bands came out. Next, most of them were handsome and gave girls they thoughts of having beautiful husbands. Also, many songs used the word "Forever" which made girls believe in fairytale endings. Last, the songs were very "emotional" for some girls.
