Mass

the amount of matter, anything that takes up space, can be seen, can be touched or tasted, in an object

Density

physical characteristic of a material, it is a measure of the mass per unit of volume of the substance under specific conditions of pressure and temperature

Buoyancy

the upward force that a liquid exerts on an object less dense than itself

Magnetism

the properties of attraction by magnets

Insulator

a material that has low conductivity that the flow of current through the object is negligible

Heat

a form of energy made by the motion of atoms or molecules inside an object

Conductor

allow heat or electricity to flow through readily
