1. Do not write in CAPS.

It is known as online yelling and it's rude.

2. Do not use email to discuss confidential information.

You or the person you're talking to can get hacked and the hacker can see it or it can get sent to people.

3. Use proper spelling, grammar & punctuation.

If you don't spell right, use grammar, or use punctuation, they might not understand what you're saying.

4. Use smileys, winks, etc when it’s appropriate.

When you're sending a message, you can use smileys so they can know how you're saying it: happy, sad, suspicious, etc.

5. Do not copy a message or attachment without permission.

They might not want you to post it and have it just between you can your friend.
