Adult/ ChildCPR

Step 1 Check the scene if safe or not

Step 2 Check the person tap on the persons shoulder to see if they respond

Step 3 call 911 or activate EMS

Step 4 30 compressions 100 per minute 2 inch deph use 2 hands for adult 1 third of chest and 1 to 2 hands for child

Step 5 open airway pull the head back

Step 6 do 2 breaths check if they go in

Step 7 continue steps 3 to 5 until a AED arrive or someone else with equal or more CPR training takes over

Infant CPR

Step 1 Check scene if it is safe or not

Step 2 Check for responsiveness tickle the babys foot to check for responsiveness

Step 3 call 911 or activate EMS

Step 4 30 compressions using two fingers push down in middle of chest

Step 5 2 breaths check to make sure the chest is rising and breaths go in

Step 6 Continue cycle until baby wakes up or EMS arrives or until someone else with equal or better CPR training takes over

Adult/Child Conscious Choking

Step 1 Check the scene if safe or not

Step 2 Ask the person if they are choking

Step 3 call 911 or activate the EMS

Step 4 do abodominal thrusts until the object comes out or the patient becomes unconscious or the object comes out

Infant Conscious Choking

Step 1 Check the Scene safe or not

Step 2 Ask if they are choking

Step 3 Call 911 or activate EMS

Step 4 do 5 back blows and 5 chest thrust keeping the head down lower than the legs keep doing this until the object comes out or the baby becomes unconscious or help arrives

Adult/Child unconscious Choking

Step 1 Check the scene

Step 2 Check the person for responsiveness tap on shoulder

Step 3 30 compressions

Step 4 Check for object if you see the object get it out with your finger

Step 5 do 2 breaths if you don't see it if breaths don't go in reposition and do two breaths repeat steps 3 to 5 until they wake up or help comes

Infant Unconscious Choking

Step 1 Check the Scene

Step 2 Check the person tickle the babies leg to check for responsiveness

Step 3 Call 911 or activate the EMS

Step 4 30 Compressions with two fingers

Step 5 Check for object if you see it sweep it out with your pinkie finger

Step 6 2 breaths if they do not go in reposition and do two more breaths repeat steps 4 to 6 until help arrives infant wakes up

Bleeding

Step 1 Check the Scene

Step 2 Call 911

Step 3 put direct pressure

Step 4 wrap it around the opening and move towards the heart with the wrap

Step 5 tie a knot to apply pressure and make sure the blood is not bleeding and wait for help to arrive

AED

Step 1 Turn the AED on

Step 2 Bare the chest dry off if wet if there is any excessive hair you might need to shave it off

Step 3 Place one pad above the upper right nipple place the other pad on the patients lower left ribs below the armpit make sure pads are pressed down firmly for infant one in middle of back and front

Step 4 Follow AED directions like if it says stand clear because it is analyzing do it

Step 5 shock advised stand clear and after the sock do 30 compressions followed by 2 breaths do this until the AED thinks it needs another shock
