Appalachian Plateau Region
The Appalachian Plateau is in the northwestern part of Georgia and of the Appalachian Mountains. This is the smallest region in Georgia which has Lookout Mountain that is located in the valley and wooded ridges. There are a lot of coal mining in this region because of the rock layers which has coal deep inside the mountain. The Appalachian Plateau is sometimes called "TAG" and the states that are connected to this region is Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Because of the mountains in this region, there are some farming, but the growing is limited from the due of poor soil.
