The impact of technology on society is unquestionable. Whether considering the plow, vaccinations, or the internet, technology has had a huge impact on society. While not every advance has been beneficial, there have been many positive effects of technology.

Advancements in mobile technology allow employers and employees to communicate in newer, faster ways. Laptops, tablet computers and mobile devices

If there is one factor that separates the modern era from those that have gone before, it is technology. Through new technology, mankind has united the globe in a continuous civilization that is capable of living standards and life expectancy never before experienced. There are many advantages of technology that can be outlined. Technology is so intrinsic to the way that people have come to live that its advantages are often overlooked.

  • Why is the global impact on technology changing the world?

In nearly every corner of the world, from Seattle to Washington D.C. , one cannot enter a café or walk down the street without seeing someone talking, texting, or surfing the Internet on their cell phones, laptops or tablet PCs. Information Technology (IT) has become ubiquitous and is changing every aspect of how people live their lives.

The technological singularity, or simply the singularity, is the hypothesis that accelerating progress in technologies such as artificial intelligence will cause non-human intelligence to exceed human intelligence for the first time in history, causing human civilization to be radically changed or possibly destroyed. Because the capabilities of such an intelligence may be difficult for a human to comprehend, the technological singularity is often seen as an occurrence (akin to a Gravitational Singularity ) beyond which the forthcoming course of human history would be unpredictable or even unfathomable.
