How does the type of circuit affect the strand of Christmas lights with a burned out bulb?
Iv: Type of circuit, burned out bulb
Dv: Stand of Christmas lights
If the Christmas lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when 1 bulb burst the other bulbs will light up.
I noticed that the electricity comes out the battery, through the wires, and into the lightbulbs.
If the Christmas lights are in a parallel circuit then when 1 light bulb bursts the other lights will light up.
I noticed that even though there is a gap in the wires the electricity still goes there.
I noticed that the wires transfers electricity from one light bulb to another.
I noticed that without one of the light bulbs there is no electricity for the wires to carry so that the other light bulbs could also get electricity.
I noticed that if the light bulbs are on the same set of wires then if 1 bust then the others won't be able to get any electricity transferred to them, but if the light bulbs are on different wires then if one bust the others will get electricity.
