Dorothy Elizabeth was born on April 20th, 1903. She was a very talented showgirl and silent movie actress. She was raised by her mother and father in a middle class neighborhood. Supporting herself by drawling portrait sketches. She didn't finish college to pursue the life of modeling and acting in theater. Her first popular cast was in George White's musical play, "George White's Scandals". He gave Dorothy the nickname "Little Alabama" because of her southern accent. She was married three times the first marriage happening when she was only 17. Throughout her life she stared in many silent films and the people loved her. On April 8th, 1957, she died of cancer.
