Copyright is when the owner has control of what can be done with their intellectual property. Intellectual Property is original work protected by copyright law. Public domain is materials that are not protected by the copyright law. Fair use exceptions and limitations to copyright law that allows people to use portions of copyrighted material. Plagiarism is when you steal someone's work and say it is yours. Piracy term used when music, movies, and software are copied and burned illegally. Hacking accessing someone's computer without permission regardless of the reason.
