1969

IMP( Interface Message Processor)  Network Links First Four Nodes in University of California at Los Angeles, SRI (in Stanford), University of California at Santa Barbara, and University of Utah.

1972

Robert Kahn demonstrates the ARPAnet, He connects 20 computers a national convention.

1973

TCP/IP Protocol Development Begins

1974

Vint Cerf and  Robert Kahn Coin  the term 'Internet'

1977

Network for US Universities and industrial groups in created.

1980

Cs Net is created and developed or also called the computer science network.

1980-1989

IAB is established and developed through out 1980-1989, Internet activities board. It was later called the internet architecture board.  

1982

First public WAN initiated connecting networks in Europe.

1983

Paul Mockapetris Invents Domain Name System

1984

First Email arrives in Germany form the US

1991

World Wide Web opens to the general public.

2000

Nii Quaynor Brings Internet to Africa
