Indigo's Value Board

I value...

...Close friends.

I have a pretty small social group, but I care a lot about my friends. I have a couple online friends I have known since 2009. They may live far away, but they're some of the best people I've ever met, and I'm glad I get the chance to talk to them every day. ^U^

...The arts.

My biggest hobby by far is drawing. I like to draw on the computer and have been doing so for over 5 years. I also really like to write. I used to play violin, which I did for 6 years, but I stopped in high school. In 9th grade I started with choir, and I'm currently in Albanettes. I love doing art because it gives the opportunity to meet good people with similar interests.

Those are some examples of my digital art. I really enjoy creating this sort of stuff and I do my best to work on a piece every day I can. I used to record my drawing process and speed it up to put on Youtube, but I don't do it so much anymore. Still, here's an example of it.

Needless to say, technology is pretty important to me. Without my computer or smartphone, I wouldn't be able to produce art in a way that's fun for me or communicate with my long-distance friends. That kind of convenience is pretty important to me. :)

While I do of course love my friends and family, I'm pretty introverted. I like to have moments to myself where I don't have to be stressed about social situations or fulfill obligations.

...My free time.

I really like having the time and freedom to do what I want, even if what I want is just sitting around and doodling or eating or something. Being able to just take a breather and de-stress is incredibly valuable.
