One question I had was How could a 14 year-old kid face so many challenges? He went through very rough times at the reservation and at his new school. He was bullied very badly by adults and children at the reservation. Then shortly after he was bullied in his new high school. But he showed them who he really was and showed them his skills.

As I read, I really feel what Junior was going through and what he was describing. He explains how he is bullied by children and adults in both the reservation and in the public school. He also draws and greatly explains how he feels and what he is currently going through. All of the feelings that he gets and how he sees himself.

In the book Junior goes back and thinks about when he first met Rowdy. He talked about how they first met and what they used to do with each other. He also talks about when he was a baby and how he was born with '' water in the brain''. He talked about his surgery when he was very young. All of this adds up and starts the begining of his story.
