The  located in the southern areas of mexico such as Chiapas, Tabasco, and Yucatan Peninsula, had hot and humid summer but cold winters. making daily labor difficult and back breaking. Labor in construction and farming especially difficult.

This culture varying in the areas of  Guatemala, Belize, western Honduras, and the Tabasco, Chiapas, and Yucat√°n regions of Mexico has certain types if vegetation as to be expected. focused on four domesticated crops such as maize, squash, beans and chili peppers. the was varieties of beans which were grown for example pinto, red and black beans. fruits like tomato, chili peppers, avocado, guava, apple, papaya, pineapple, pumpkin, sweet potato, were also grown by farmers. meats also played a big part in their diets with meas like deer, manatee, armadillo, tapir, peccary, monkey and other types of fowl, turtle and iguana. while some mayanlived in the coastal regions they also of course feed on fish, lobster, shrimp, conch, and other shellfish. they also cooked foods we know of today such as pozole, atole and tamales.

The Caelestis spoke Latin, meaning heavenly, Celestial, of the sky, divine, godlike. Most of their inscriptions were written in Latin, Their gods being the sun and moon en scripted in their temples as "solem et lunam." this is the only language they spoke and wrote in.

Their gods being the sun and moon (solem et lunam) Represented the male and female gender, The sun symbolizing the male, Big, Strong, and powerful. The moon symbolizing the woman small, beautiful and pale was of course not true due to the fact of the area in which they live in they all had fairly dark skin. The woman were suppose to be inside the home taking care of the children, cooking, cleaning, teaching or healing the injured. this caused the thought of the woman being pale due to the fact that they never did any hard labor in the outdoors, while the men took care of the labors outside such as in construction, and farming.

Every full moon or eclipse they dance to their gods. Full moons featuring women since they represent the moon, they dance to the goddess to show their love and devotion. In eclipses they feature both male and female, they dance during the eclipse and stop when its over. During the summer solstice the men will dance at noon when the sun is at its highest point till he sees fit. during the winter solstice the women will dance at the darkest hour till she sees fit.

The king and queen will only marry during an eclipse symbolizing the meeting of the two gods, in the occasion of a wedding they will be the dancers,to show their love not only to the gods, but to each other.
