In todays generation more and more people aren't as involved in the arts. More schools are focusing on STEM and other programs rather than a play or a chorus budget. It has been proven that theater, music, art, etc. have helped a persons attitude, grades, confidence, and more! When a person is involved in music it gains life skills that will help them in the future.
How does Theater help a Child's Self Confidence?
When a child is involved in theater they learn basic life skills. Music and theater helps develop creativity, confidence, problem solving, perseverance, focus, non- verbal communication, receiving constructive feedback, collaboration, dedication, and accountability. All of these traits are valuable in day to day problem solving and life.
